Get ready!  It’s time once again for another PRO’s get together and Luncheon. Put March 23^rd on your calendar now.  We’ll be welcoming members at 10:30 to allow time for you to socialize with folks you may not have seen for ages. 

Our speaker for this Luncheon will be Jill Peters.  She’s a local comedian who is known for her Blue Collar Humor. If you need a humorous lift in these trying times, this is the event for you.  She will start her presentation following our buffet luncheon.  You’ll not be sorry that you’ve committed to this event.

Remember that we’re always looking for new members. Why not call a retired Parkland employee to make sure they’ve become a member. Then invite them to send in their membership dues and reserve a spot for the luncheon. Consider picking them up on your way, if possible.   Anyone who was a Parkland employee and either is receiving or is eligible to receive retirement benefits can become a PRO’s member.  Contact Gracie Duffie at gduffi833@att.net or phone her at 214-341-2057 for additional membership information.

We’ve had requests from current members to have a PRO provide transportation to Luncheons.  If you need this assistance or are willing to provide transportation, please notify me or Anna Robinson at arobnurse@aol.com or 972-230-8934.  We’ll do all we can to make sure everyone who wants to come has a way to get there. Also, remember that we’ll again be collecting toiletries for the Parkland Guest Services/Volunteer Office.  Your donations will be delivered to Parkland.  If you have copies of the old Parkland Highlights or borrowed some from last September, please bring them to share with others.

To join the fun, have a great lunch, and see your former work friends again, please complete the enclosed Luncheon registration form.  Mail the form and your payment to Anna Robinson, PRO’s Treasurer, 805 Twin Creek Drive, DeSoto, TX 75115.  Make checks payable to Parkland Retirees Organization.  Your information must be received by March 18^th.
